| Hello and thank you for considering me for your supervised visitation needs.
I strive to ensure that my clients/customers feel they are treated with the utmost respect and sensitivity.
I have been working with children and families for over 12 years in the areas of Child Protection, Family Counseling, and assessments of developmental needs. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University.
Both my education and professional experience have given me insight of the emotional toll family problems can have on all those involved, especially children.
My goal is to help ease those struggles by assisting the non-custodial parent and his/her child(ren) to have a sense of normalcy when interacting with one another, while ensuring the child's safety and well-being.
Supervised visits are held off-site in a more natural setting in the community such as a park, playground, or mall, a library or at the family's home (depending on the court order).
Moreover, I am specifically trained to serve the sensitive needs of children who have been exposed to domestic violence or child abuse.
I realize that the visitation setting is of paramount importance to ensuring the safety of the child, while still allowing the parent to visit and interact with their child in a natural setting. I ensure that the entire visit is supervised in a caring, unbiased and professional manner and in accordance with all Supervised Visitation Standards and Guidelines.
