| Realizing the vital role that visitation plays in building a bond between parent and child, we strive to encourage positive family interaction and decrease the stress associated with court-ordered supervised visitation by providing children and families the consistency of a safe and supportive visitation environment.
Helping Hands has been designed to:
- Work as a neutral third party during supervised visitations
- Creating a safe environment in which parents and children could bond away from conflict or court proceedings
- Objectively document the events and activities that take place during supervised visitation
- Be used as a resource for parents to better understand their parenting skills
Helping Hands can make all necessary arrangements so that parents do not need to be in contact with each other
All supervised visitation is conducted by a professional individual with advanced training in supervising visitation.
Supervised visitation and exchanges in Pierce and King counties are held in public places such as community centers, children's museums, non-custodial parent's home or any other location agreed upon by both parties |
