| The New Hampshire Parenting Support Center offers a comfortable, clean and safe environment for children and parents to connect with one another.
The goal of our center is to offer families in difficult transitions, an opportunity to move forward toward a less restrictive setting. The Parenting Support Center staff are non judgmental and welcoming to all parents, regardless of disabilities or past histories.
All visits are overseen by Supervisors who are Guardian ad Litems, MSW, or have degrees in Education. Forms will be sent to attorneys if requested.
We are committed to promoting the healing of families in a safe and nurturing environment.
All supervisors are highly experienced, being either Guardian ad Litems, educators or social workers. The role of the supervisor is to objectively observe the interactions and take notes that are entered into the Centers forms.
These forms include the comfort level of the child and parent, the activities that are engaged in, as well as any verbal interactions that are significant. These reports are provided upon request to the parents and/or their counsel (the content of these forms are available for viewing on our site).
Additionally, the supervisors will provide parenting guidance if posed/necessary. Supervisors are available to testify upon request.
The Parenting Center has an array of books, games, physical activities, and toys for all ages. We offer a setting that is conducive to nurture familial relationships. Often, children will request certain items or toys and we will strive to meet those needs as well. Equally, we work directly to meet their requests as well.
The supervisor will intervene if there is a concern regarding the emotional or physical safety of the child, or a specific restriction provided through a court order. In cases concerning contention between the parents, the center offers the opportunity to avoid contact through early drop offs |
