Levels of Supervision
One-on-one Supervision: This will entail the supervision of the non-custodial parent and his/her child(ren), conducted in such a way that the Visitation Supervisor can directly observe the activities and overhear the conversation of the parent and child(ren) at all times. One on one visitation can also take place for parent(s) who are incarcerated, in treatment centers or mental health facilities with/under the assistance of the respective facility.
Minimal Supervision: Visitation Supervisor monitors the visits, but provides some private time for the non-custodial parent/family thus not observing every interaction or overhearing entire conversations between the parent and children(ren).
Off-site Supervision: This involves arrangements made between the Visitation Supervisor and the respective parties for visitation to take place in the community. The Visitation Supervisor accompanies the parent and child(ren)on the visit.
Transfer/Escort Visitation: This form of visitation is limited to the actual exchange of the child(ren) from their primary care taker to the non-custodial parent. The rest of the visit between the parent and child(ren) is unsupervised.
Please note that a pre and post discussion is held for each visit to review visitation arrangements and activities. |
